Dana Shayegan is the Vice President of Music at, Studio71 US (formerly Collective Digital Studio), the media company for creators. Studio71 is one of the largest, most diverse global networks of creators and original IP in entertainment and media. In music, S71 operates one of the largest networks of independent music channels on YouTube, averaging hundreds of millions of streams per month across a wide variety of genres including Dance Music, Hip Hop, Pop, Caribbean, and World Music. Dana and his team work on the development, management, and monetization of artist, record label, and music curation channels. The company assists creators with tracking their copyrighted works in order to monetize via advertising, as well as with digital audience development, content funding, licensing, branded content sales and multi-platform distribution. Key former and current S71 clients include the world’s most subscribed indie band, Boyce Avenue, several of the biggest channels in Dance music including No Copyright Sounds, Trap City, UKF, Pitchfork, Insomniac Events, and Majestic Casual, singer/songwriter William Singe, and many more.
Prior to his work at CDS, Dana co-founded the lifestyle clothing brand We Are Massiv. and played an instrumental role in music based lifestyle marketing efforts for the automotive brand Scion, including the brand’s critically acclaimed indie label Scion A/V, their online radio station Scion Radio 17, and numerous nationwide tours.
