Juma Inniss is the founder and director of The Message, a movement to empower teens to become empowered adults in the digital age. The Message prepares North American youth to better interact with the world and each other, using live music and pop culture as vehicles for education. He is also a principal at the Inniss Entertainment Group, a Boston based marketing and creative media boutique serving clients in entertainment, consumer goods, and philanthropy.
Juma has worked extensively in his local community, helping at-risk youth develop social consciousness and media literacy skills through music. He is an advisor to Media Literacy Now, the United States’ leading advocacy organization for media literacy education policy, and a member of the National Association for Media Literacy Education. He holds a B.S. in Marketing Communication from Emerson College and an A.S. in Television Broadcasting from the New England Institute of Art.
