Marcus is a seasoned veteran in the entertainment marketing business whose skills and relationships. have been invaluable to companies looking to market their brands through entertainment channels.
Marcus joined Omnicom in 2004 as co-president of their leading entertainment marketing agency AWE (merged into GMR Entertainment). There he created entertainment strategy platforms for over 40 leading brands including Nokia, Jagermeister, Verizon, Blackberry, Candies, Philips, Jeep, and JC Penny. Marcus then joined DDB’s Fathom Communications as the company’s MD of Entertainment Marketing where he was responsible for executing entertainment marketing programs for Johnson & Johnson, Universal Music, Blockbuster, Twix, Clorox, McAfee, and Gatorade.
Marcus joined Ketchum’s entertainment practice (KSE) as EVP of entertainment in 2010. In this role Marcus oversees a bi-coastal team that creates entertainment marketing programs across Ketchum’s roster of clients including Pernod Ricard, 7-Eleven and Wendy’s. Marcus also serves as VP of the national board of T.J Martell, one the music industry’s premier charity organizations.
