    Media Literacy: The ABC’s of Engaging Generation Z

    Teenagers spend 11 hours per day with digital media (Kaiser Family Foundation). Translation: creators and purveyors of digital content have more opportunity to influence the attitudes and beliefs of young people on a given day than parents, teachers, and other authority figures.

    This workshop will explore the social impact of digital media and ways in which content creators can shape their messages to affect positive change in youth, and lift their brands in the process. Attendees will be inspired to reimagine their identities as digital authors and creatives and see themselves as leaders of the next generation.
